Odalys R. Girado is the Sr. Business Director for Right Hire Staffing Solutions, Inc. in which she oversees the tri-county area. She has been in the staffing services industry for the last 16 years. In addition to her current position, she is an Executive Board Member of the Greater Miami Society for Human Resource Management since January 2001, this year serving as VP, Community Relations.
Born in Miami Beach, Florida and raised in Key West, Florida, Odalys graduated from Key West High School in 1990 with Honors in Business and Performing Arts. She went on to receive her Associate of Arts degree from Florida Keys Community College in 1992. After relocating back to her hometown, she decided to pursue her studies in Accounting at Florida International University. In May of 1995, she graduated with her Bachelor’s of Accounting Degree. In the Spring of 1998, Odalys also received a certification in Human Resource Administration through FIU’s Center for Management Development.
Professionally, Odalys was chosen as a finalist for the 2003 Up & Comers Awards. She is also a member of several organizations including the Society for Human Resource Management, Greater Miami Society for Human Resource Management, Executive’s Association of Greater Miami, and the West Kendall Business Association. She is also a former Miami Dolphins Cheerleader and a member of the NFL Alumni Association and the Professional Cheerleaders Alumni (PCA).
In the community, Odalys enjoys participating in events sponsored by non-profit organizations around the community to include His House Children’s Home, The American Heart Association, Hands on Miami and the United Way of Miami-Dade County. In addition, she is a graduate of the Leadership Miami 2001 class, which involved a major ongoing community service project. She then became a facilitator for the Leadership Miami 2002 class. For many years, she had volunteered her time as a facilitator of the Preparing Youth for Industry Program (PYI) working with “at-risk” students and encouraging them to stay in school through formal classroom modules and exposing students firsthand to the working world through temporary jobs. She was also a certified mentor through Broward County Public Schools. In October of 2001, she coordinated a fundraising event to benefit The Wives & Children’s foundation of the fallen NYC Firefighters.
Personally, Odalys enjoys spending quality time with her two wonderful sons, Aidan and Logan. In addition, she is also a certified Open Water Scuba Diver, and truly enjoys the art of “Dance”.
