Andrew Rodman – Legislative Affairs
Andrew Rodman, a shareholder at the law firm Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, P.A. focuses his practice on counseling employers on labor and employment-related matters, and defending employers in state and federal court litigation and administrative proceedings before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the Florida Commission on Human Relations. Andrew also assists client with the drafting and revision of employee handbooks, confidentiality and non-compete agreements, employment contracts, and separation/termination agreements. He provides employment-related training for his clients on areas such as sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, minimum wage and overtime practices, and “best practices” for HR professionals. Andrew graduated magna cum laude from Brandeis University (1993) and cum laude from Boston University School of Law (1996).
