Happy New Year GMSHRM Members!

I am honored to be your president in this special year - GMSHRM’s 60th Anniversary!  We have an exciting year ahead and want to thank you for your continued support of our chapter.

I want to also thank Cindy Lau Evans and the entire 2011 board for a very successful 2011.

We have a dynamic board this year - meet them at our next dinner meeting and visit our website.  This year we are building on the many wonderful initiatives we provided last year as well as many new and exciting events and initiatives.  We have listened to your requests and feedback and as a result we are planning the following events:

Full or Half Day Conferences – Strategic & Business Acumen, Legal Update, Wellness 

More Networking Events throughout Greater Miami

Increased partnerships with law firms, HR vendors, and other associations

Breakfast meetings and webinars

Global Forum and Diversity Initiatives

Continued member benefits including legal questions, certification review, recertification credits, and more...

We encourage you to be active in your chapter and welcome your comments and feedback.  A reminder that if you haven’t renewed your membership, please do so right away - you won't regret it!
