DIVERSITY IN ACTION CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPOSIBILITY AWARDS
Savvy businesses – large and small -- understand that in this dynamic business environment, diversity is more than just a concept deserving of lip service. It is, in fact, essential to successful business in South Florida, a population comprised of men and women of all ages, races, nations of origin, and religions who are earning their livings by working together. Honoring those employers in our community whose best practices have had a direct impact on our community and promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace is the goal of the "GMSHRM Diversity In Action Awards Dinner- 2012" The Awards Dinner will be held this year on the evening of Monday, September 24th at the beautiful venue, Jungle Island.
GMSHRM invites you to nominate your own organization or any other South Florida employer that you believe represents the best in diversity and inclusion practices. GMSHRM will select two winners this year: 1) one winner from the non-profit sector; and 2) one winner from the profit sector. Winners will be honored/ showcased at the September 24th Dinner Meeting and will be invited to share information to inspire diversity and inclusion across the business community in South Florida. This well-attended event is an excellent opportunity to showcase your employer!

Final Applications/Submission window will be from July 15, 2012 through August 15, 2012. Formal applications will be available on our website beginning on 7/15/12.
Nominations will be accepted through July 31, 2012. This will allow a nominated organization(s) ample time to fill out formal application/submission by due date.
To nominate an organization, please fill out this brief form and return it to any GMSHRM Officer or directly to GMSHRM Diversity Director, Claire Bergquist at sonora92@comcast.net before July 31, 2012. A representative from GMSHRM will contact the Diversity Contact you identify in order to gather additional information.
