Overview
This event aims to promote the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and in today’s global society. Our Fireside Chat with Don Mizell will examine diversity as a universal solution to a global shift of people and process. During our Panel Discussion Diversity Practitioners will share their insight and best practices for promoting and implementing inclusion initiatives.
We will also present a dynamic company with the 2012 GMSHRM Diversity Award. We will round out the program with Dr. Shirley Davis, one of the most dynamic and inspirational speakers and a driving force in global diversity and inclusion.
Finally, we will present the slate of nominees for the officer positions for the GMSHRM Board of Governors for 2013. The GMSHRM membership will also be voting to elect a President-Elect to fill the remaining term for 2012 as President-Elect because Jenna Rassif, former President-Elect, was sworn in as President upon the resignation of President Robert Garcia on August 21, 2012. The nominee for the President-Elect position for the remainder of 2012 is Theresa Davis. Nominations may also be made from the floor by Professional Members
