GMSHRM Members Invited to EEOC Chair & General Counsel Luncheon
The EEOC Chair Jacqueline Berrien and Gen. Counsel David Lopez will discuss policy initiatives and legal updates.
The EEOC Miami District Office is extending an invitation to join a luncheon on Thursday, June 16th, where you can meet Chair Jacqueline A. Berrien and General Counsel P. David Lopez and the leadership of the Miami District Office, and learn more about the EEOC's initiatives.
"The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is under the dynamic leadership of two individuals who have devoted their careers to advancing civil rights. Chair Jacqueline Berrien spent her career as a civil rights attorney with the ACLU, the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under the Law, before being appointed by President Obama to head the agency. The EEOC's General Counsel, David Lopez, has spent over 15 years at the EEOC, in the field and headquarters, litigating large, high-impact systemic discrimination cases." - EEOC
