Reporting to the Manager, Human Capital - Americas, the incumbent will be exposed to regional and global Human Capital activities. The Intern will support the Human Capital Service Centre on both daily operations as well as help to drive challenging global Human Capital projects.

Responsibilities
Support Human Capital operations in ranging from recruitment (assisting with scheduling interviews, short listing candidates, contract preparation, etc...) to employee on-boarding process (conduct pre-employment background verifications, assisting with relocation needs, reporting and responding to government agency inquiries, etc....). Address employee queries and provide guidance on policies, procedures and practices.  Assist with employee benefits administration.  Assist the Manager, HC with gathering, reviewing and coordinating employment related documents from in-country operations to create standard conditions of employment in all countries.  Review, gather and coordinate data related to benefit offerings in all countries.  Support the Human Capital team with coordinating training courses for internal and external trainees - includes registration, follow-up to verify
attendance, preparation of invitation and visa letters and coordination of classroom logistics.  Any other assigned tasks as requested.

Qualifications and Skills
Recent Master's level university graduate or in the last phase of a graduate program; preferably in the Human Resource Management field.  Excellent administrative and organizational skills, with a strong focus on quality and high attention to details. Self-starter with high level of initiative and the ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously. Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.  Comfortable being part of a dynamic and multicultural team.  Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels both within and outside the organization. Proficient with MS Office products; advanced skill in Excel is an asset; Fluent in English and Spanish.  Any other language skills a definite asset.
