BACKGROUND ON MDBLN:

Miami-Dade Business Leadership Network’s (MDBLN) mission is to educate and encourage employers to recruit, hire, train and retain employees with disabilities as part of promoting good business practices. Comprising volunteers from area businesses, the MDBLN offers leadership by example and a supportive employer-to-employer network aimed at promoting the employment of qualified people who just happen to have disabilities. MDBLN can help businesses learn more about hiring people with disabilities through training and technical assistance, and make it easy to recruit, hire, train, and retain employees with disabilities. It is one of 10 BLN organizations located throughout Florida, and part of a state and national network of 51 BLNs in 27 states. The U.S. BLN was founded by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
