In February our monthly program will examine the challenges and best practices for professional and career development. The program will include a panel discussion, three concurrent sessions and a networking event – all geared at supporting local human resources professionals throughout their professional career.  This event will take place at FIU’s College of Business Administration at the University Park Campus, 11200 SW 8th Street with registration starting at 4:30 p.m. in front of the Special Events Room (signage will be provided to direct you to parking and the location).

What to expect:

Panel Discussion: Our meeting starts promptly at 4:30 p.m. with an hour panel discussion starting at 5:00 p.m. moderated by Vito Scotello, Panelist will share their perspectives on “Managing Business and Careers in a Rollercoaster Economy”. Our panelists and their focus include:
 
1. Labor Market & Economic Trends - Richard Clarke, Public Information Officer, South Florida Workforce
2. Employer Perspective – Gary Punzi, Sr. VP, Challenger, Gray & Christmas  
3. Individual Perspective - Magali Jarrin, HR Director, McQuay International
4. Business Perspective – Laura Marks, Manager, Talent Acquisition and Development, Noven Pharmaceutical, Inc. 
 
You will also be afforded the opportunity to address the panelists with your questions and comments.
