Maribel Diz was appointed Vice President of Visa Inc. Latin American and the Caribbean Region (LAC) in October 2013. She is responsible for all aspects of Visa’s human resources business in the Region.
Her experience and vision are focused on value-added services and human resources support to the Miami operation, including regional presence in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela.
Maribel has been with Visa for 20 years working in all disciplines of human resources. Her expertise is in the field of business development and executing human resources strategies in the region that closely align with the company’s strategic priorities. Maribel’s professional career in HR spans more than 25 years working in the employment service sector and the hospitality industry prior to joining Visa.
Ms. Diz holds an undergraduate degree in Business from Nova Southeastern, graduating with distinction, and a masters of Science in HR Management from Florida International University. She is an active contributor to several local networking organizations and has presented at events focused on advancement of women in the workplace.
