Founded in 1952, the Greater Miami Society for Human Resource Management (GMSHRM) has grown into the largest professional association of human resources professionals in Miami-Dade County. GMSHRM is proud to be a local chapter affiliate of the SHRM.

GMSHRM continually strives to serve HR professionals and advance the Human Resources profession by providing a variety of programs and services designed to meet the professional needs of HR practitioners in Miami-Dade County.  We have programs for every area of interest:

When the chapter was started in 1952, it was named the "Personnel Association of Greater Miami" and elected its first president in 1953. Thanks to the many contributions of volunteer leaders and members, the chapter has continued to serve HR professionals and the community.
